Cheetah Powered by RAM
A freestyle 1966 racer by Rick Thigpen
This was a fun project
that was "Ebay Affordable". I'd been buying Ram Hop Up parts for their 426 motor
and finally put them all together. Ball bearings, brushes and springs, 64 pitch
gears...oh baby! The Cox American mags are kind of sought after but you could
use Cox BRM wheels (that's what I used for the spare wheel). Cox front tires and
German Record Elastic 40mm rears. Lancer body with aluminum tube for exhaust
pipes and velocity stacks, sheet metal screw with a straight pin soldered to it
for a quick fill gas cap and a Revell driver round out the body.
