Mixing Rod Special

This is not a drop arm; it is an articulated pickup system in which the two pickups are each attached to a separate hinged arm.  The guide, in the form of a pin, is solidly attached to the chassis.  Unfortunately, this article is longer than the two pages shown below, as indicated by the word "continued" on the second page.  If you have a complete copy of this article and are willing to share it, please let me know.
